Sidama Public Health Institute has the following visions and missions.
Mission
Conduct research on prioritized health issues at the regional level.
Produce valuable resources for health services through technology transfer.
Prevent and control public health risks through surveys, preparation, prevention, warning, and information dissemination.
Enhance the institute’s laboratories with skilled personnel and advanced technology.
Establish a centralized system for collecting, archiving, and managing health-related data, enabling evidence-based decision-making and informing public health policies and programs
